Dreamchamber was characterized by Etrog as an example of the hinges motif as an “intorvert,” a piece containing a hidden core, whose existence is hinted upon, yet always unavailable to the viewer. Before moving to its current home at the MacLaren Art Centre in Barrie, the sculpture was installed for decades in the garden of the Canadian Prime Minister’s residence in Ottawa, ON.
