This sample of Etrog’s “wall sculptures” exemplifies his first experiments with steel sheets, a technique that would dominate his oeuvre in the 1980s. These works emerged from his “introvert” hinges works, as if their shadow was projected on the wall, thus rendering a clean geometric look in two-dimensions.
